Bliss Bridal Shower Card

I am so glad that I got the sale.a.bration stamp set Bliss. It is so versatile. A few days ago I made a "thinking of you" card with it. Then, I needed a card for a bridal shower and, guess what, the bliss set was whipped out again. The card below is what I came up with this time.

Materials:

1.Card Stock: Whisper White ( 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" & 4 1/4" x 3 3/16"; Rich Razzleberry ( 4 3/8" x 3 3/8")

2. Ink: Perfect Plum, Rich Razzleberry, VersaMark

3. Ribbon - Rich Razzleberry two 5" pieces.

4. Other - Tissue Paper, Anywhere Glue Stick, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool.

Below are the steps taken to make the card.

1. Fold the large piece of white card stock to form a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card.

2. Starting at the outside edge score the front face of the card at 1/8", 1/4", 3/8". Repeat this scoring pattern on each side of the card.

3. In the center of the small piece of white paper stamp the word Bliss with Perfect Plum ink. Then use the Perfect Plum Stampin' Write marker to fill in each letter with solid color. After it dries coat the image with ink from a VersaMark pen and then heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

4. Ink up the large flourish with Perfect Plum ink and stamp the image so that it is centered over the word Bliss. Allow ink to dry.

5. Take a piece of tissue paper measuring about 5" x 5" and wad it up.
Flatten it back out. Apply glue to the panel with the stamped image.
Then spread the tissue over it. Trim off excess tissue.

6. Attach the ribbon to the top and the bottom of the tissue covered panel.

7. Center and adhere this panel to the Rich Razzleberry panel. Now attach this layered panel in the center of the scored lines.
